Why are many Email Addresses sloppy?

Many users get their Email from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) like AOL, so they’re restricted to Email Addresses like:

POP3 means that you primarily view your incoming mail using Email programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, Opera, Mozilla Thunderbird or other packages.

When you use POP3 you may also wish to forward all Emails to one or more additional Email accounts like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo so that you have multiple copies of your incoming Emails for safety.

You will need to go to advanced settings on your email program to change settings so that your messages stay on our servers for however many days you choose. If you select say 120 days then all Incoming messages over that period will be deleted. Outgoing Emails that you have sent using Webmail will NOT be affected.

Remember that your Personal Email Webmail comes with 2Gbs of storage (enough for approximately 20 to 30,000 emails) so you should be careful to ensure that you don’t leave so many incoming emails on our servers so as to exceed that limit. Additional storage is available in units of 2Gbs.

IMAP

The Following Services can be used TOGETHER

• IMAP
• Email Forwarding to one or more accounts    
• Webmail
• Web Address (URL) Forwarding to any page you select

IMAP enables you to view all of your Email folders on as many computers as you wish to set up for this purpose.

All mail stays on our servers and does not download to your hard drive.  You use Email programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, Opera, Mozilla Thunderbird or other packages. The benefits are that you can view the same Email folders at multiple locations such as Home, Office, School or anywhere else you choose.

When you use IMAP you may also wish to forward all Emails to one or more additional Email accounts like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo so that you have multiple copies of your incoming Emails for safety.

Your Personal Email Account comes with 2Gbs of storage (enough for approximately 20 to 30,000 emails) so you should be careful to ensure that you don’t exceed that limit. Additional storage is available in units of 2Gbs.

You can also set up your Email for POP3 or IMAP.

Accessing your Webmail

To access your Webmail Account either:

Login

Then click My Account and select your webmail from the drop down box

then enter your PersonalEmail address and password

OR use the URL www.mail.yourdomain.net

Login and then enter your PersonalEmail address and password
